Blues for the Modern Daze is an album by American blues rock musician Walter Trout, focussing more on the "traditional" blues, and taking a more straightforward approach to songwriting. The album reached #1 on the UK Jazz & Blues Chart and #4 on the Billboard Blues Chart. It was produced by Trout himself together with Grammy-nominated producer Eric Corne. Blues for the Modern Daze is available as a limited edition of 1000 numbered copies of purple coloured marbled vinyl. It is housed in a gatefold sleeve and includes a 4-page booklet with lyrics.
