God = Dog bestaat uit Nikkie van Lierop (Erotic Dissidents, Praga Khan), Toon Derison (Steven De Bruyn, El Fish), Klaas Tomme (Iskander Moon, Illuminae) en Yassin Joris (Jokke, Naima Joris). Rudolf Hecke bracht in 1989 het album God is doG spelled backwards uit en dat was destijd volgdens de Morgen het beste Belgische album van het jaar. 36 jaar later is Rudolf helemaal terug met een nieuw album!

Humo crowned him “The Nick Cave of Flanders”. 36 years and many musical adventures later, he is back with a strong, dark, and atmospheric album comparable to the works of, for example, This Mortal Coil: different styles of songs sung by different band members. The album is produced by Hecke, David Poltrock, and Ian Caple. Additional lead vocals are by Elsje Helewaut.
