'Noise & Flowers' bevat opnamen van de 9 concerten die Neil Young in 2019 gaf, nog geen twee weken na het overlijden van zijn goede vriend en manager Elliot Roberts. Young benaderde elke show als een feestelijke herdenkingsdienst om zijn overleden vriend te eren. De release bevat klassiekers als 'Mr. Soul', 'Helpless' en 'Rockin in the Free World' gecombineerd met releases uit de 70's ('Field of Opportunity') en 90's ('Throw Your Hatred Down'). Young wordt hierbij begeleid door Promise of the Real.
