De band kwam tercht op een verlaten drijvend eiland, ver weg van alle beschaving. daar kwam Plastic Beach tot stand. Opgebouwd uit het puin en aangespoelde overblijfselen van de mensheid. Dit Plastic Beach is het verste punt van een landmassa op aarde; de meest verlaten plek op de planeet.
