In 1991 bracht De La Soul voor het eerst De La Soul Is Dead uit. Het was hun tweede album en het had de moeilijke opdracht om het succes van hun debuutalbum te evenaren. Maar dat bleek geen probleem want ook De La Soul Is Dead is ondertussen een hip-hop klassieker. Dit is een heruitgave van 2023.
